Tidbit Tuesday - Choosing Your Food Wisely

Welcome to another installment of Tidbit Tuesday! Today we are going to talk about making smart food choices for your goals!
Nutrition is not a simple pass/fail scenario. You don't have to be perfect all of the time; Precision Nutrition focuses on progress, not perfection.
Lots of people feel this way about nutrition and exercise: that if you’re not doing it perfectly, you’re a failure who can’t do anything right and should just give up.

Deciding what to eat can be really tough.
Where do you start?
Fad diets have gone from one extreme to the next; telling you that all kinds of foods are both good and bad for you!
It is enough to make your head spin.
Plus, it is not always obvious which foods belong to which macro-nutrient (more or on this later).
How do I know if there is enough protein on my plate? Carbs? Are these fats healthy?
Or, maybe you're already eating pretty healthy but still not losing weight. Are you still eating too much? Or, do I just think I’m eating healthy, but not sure?
We want to keep things fairly simple for you. Plus, we aren’t going to say anything is strictly off limits either. We use more of a sliding scale of "better for you" to "not so great for you". And you can utilize this to make meals that best fit your preferences.
